Privacy & security

Your privacy is not a feature.

It is how Nexa is designed — from conversations to custody, with honesty about what that means.

Principles

Four principles behind Nexa.

Privacy by default

Collect only what is needed, and explain why.

You hold the keys

Self-custody means control of your assets stays with you.

Protection built in

Security is part of the design, not an afterthought.

Clear choices

Settings in plain language, so you decide what you share.

Transparency

Plain words, no overpromising.

Privacy products earn trust by being precise. This is how we commit to communicating.

  • We describe what Nexa does and does not do, in plain words.
  • We will not make claims about privacy we cannot stand behind.
  • Policies are published before launch, not after.
  • Anything unverified is labelled as such.
Self-custody

Control comes with responsibility.

What you control

  • Your wallet keys and recovery phrase
  • Which transfers you confirm
  • What you share in conversations

What that means

  • Nexa cannot recover a lost recovery phrase
  • Nobody at Nexa will ever ask for it
  • Store it offline, somewhere safe

If someone claims to be Nexa and asks for your recovery phrase, it is a scam. Never share it with anyone.

Privacy you can check, not just trust.
